NYC Concerts – Lincoln Center

Since the 1950s, the Lincoln Center has been a major contributor to the performing arts community in New York. Every year the Lincoln Center offers free outdoor concerts that attract both area residents and tourists visiting the New York area.

The Lincoln Center is located on the west side of Manhattan between West 62nd and West 65th Streets. Public transportation via bus or subway offers convenient access to the Lincoln Center. All bus lines have drop off stops located within one block of the Lincoln Center.

Lincoln Center Hours vary based upon the event, but customer service representatives are available Monday-Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. Tours of the Lincoln Center are available on a daily basis. Rates for the tour are:

Adults- $12.50
Students and Senior Citizens- $8.50
Children under 13- $5

The Lincoln Center provides a variety of events for both families and couples including opera, ballet, and jazz performances. It is the largest performing arts center in the world. By visiting the Lincoln Center website, you can gain access to the yearly calendar of events. The center also provides a free Family Calendar of Events that is available to the public. For convenience, gift certificates can be purchased to the Lincoln Center. They are available in denominations of $25, $50, and $100.
