New York Giants Football
With starts on offense (Eli Manning, Jeremy Shockey, Tiki barber) and defense (Antonio Pierce, Michael Strahan, Osi Umenyiora, Lavar Arrington) the New York Giants are one of the most exciting NFL teams to watch. I myself am a big Giants fan and run a Giants football blog.
Visit the second largest NFL stadium, the Meadowlands, home to the 2005 NFC East champion Giants, and the New York Jets. The Meadowlands is an impressive stadium with a seating capacity of about 80,000 people.

One big game to look for in the 2006 season is the season opener on September 10, 2006 at Giants Stadium against the Indianapolis Colts. This is going to be a big game, because two brothers, Eli Manning (the Giant’s quarterback) and Peyton Manning (Indianapolis’ quarterback) will face each other for their first time ever. Another game to look for is the Giant’s final game of the season against the Washington Redskins in Washington on December 30, 2006. The Giants are hoping to win their division again with this game.
New York Giants tickets are available from September – December. The cost of these tickets varies depending on available seating options. Most games are played on Sundays or Monday nights. For more ticketing information call: 201-935-3900 or visit www.meadowlands.com.
Tickets can also be purchased at the stadium. The ticket windows are open Monday – Saturday, 11 AM – 6PM.
The stadium is located:
4 miles west of the Lincoln Tunnel
8 miles from the George Washington Bridge
12 miles from Newark International Airport
Even though the stadium is in New Jersey, it is only about a 30 – 45 minute trip from many locations in New York City.
It is a great thing to experience an NFL football game up close and personal. Tailgating before a big game is something that you must take part in if you will be attending the football game. You can find people grilling all kinds of pre-game fares and there is always a football being thrown around. It is such a thrill to see some of America’s greatest athletes completing a great pass, or scoring the winning touchdown. Share your first NFL experience with the New York Giants at Meadowland Stadium! While your there be sure to pick up a memorable souvenir from one of the unique vendors at the Meadowlands.

It will be fun to see Eli Manning play against his brother to begin the year. How do you think the Giants will do this year? The NFC East will be a tough division!
