Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade: where to watch

Thanksgiving Day in New York City can include watching the Macy’s Parade in person. You will need to put up with some crowds and find a place where you can actually see the famous floats including cartoon charaters like Snoopy. One place you might look for a spot is at the Time Warner Center, 10 Columbus Circle, in Manhattan.

The center has four floors of glass windows with good views of Columbus Circle, where you can see all the floats. At least two restaurants and many stores in the center will be open for dining and shopping.

The center opens to at 8 a.m. while the parade begins at 9 a.m. Porter House New York and Café Gray are both serving Thanksgiving Day meals.
