2007 JVC Jazz Festival in New York
The 2007 JVC Jazz Festival in New York is currently on going. The festival began on June 17 and will end on June 30. Among the performers are the Sonny Fortune Quartet, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Marian McPartland, Branford Marsalis and Joshua Redman Trio, Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock and Jack DeJohnette, Berkley College of Music JVC Jazz fest Ensemble, Eastman Jazz Performance Workshop and William Paterson Jazz Sextet, India Arie and Lizz Wright, Vijay Iyer and Rudesh Mahanthappa, Patti LaBelle and the Lou Donaldson Quartet, Kenny Barron and Eliane Elias, Eartha Kitt, Lee Konitz, Cesaria Evora, Lionel Loueke Trio, Ron Carter and Friends, Jean-Luc Ponty and His Band, Geri Allen Trio, Anat Fort, Avishai Cohen Sextet, Ada Rovatti Quintet and the Sherry Lucette Trio, Roswell Rudd Malicool, Nancy Wilson and her Trio, Ned Rothenberg and Glen Valdez, Groove Collective, Ravi Coltrane Quartet, Craig Harris Ensemble, Bela Fleck and the Fleckstones and the Del McCoury Band.
